Our Inaugural Event held in 2013 was an overwhelming success with an approximate public attendance of over 5000. This next event is planned to be even bigger & better.

The WAHS is inviting expressions of interest to participate in the Auction of the Gold (Main) sponsorship of our 2015 Reptile Expo, to be held on Sunday 26th July 2015, at the Cannington Exhibition Centre, WA.
Invitations are open to all Australian Reptile Related Registered Business only.

Bidding will commence 8.00am 1st October and run until midnight 31st October 2014 (WST), with an option for the WAHS to extend bidding for a further 24hrs at a time (up to an absolute max of two weeks being midnight 14th November 2014 WST), where the last bid made falls within one hour of the scheduled Auction close.

The reserve price on this sponsorship is $5,000, and only bids in increments of $500 will be accepted.

If you wish to participate in this Auction, please email your details, including: Your Name, Business Name and Daytime Telephone Number (which may be used to verify your details) to administration@wahs.org.au for further information.

Bloody hell, don't see too many reptile dealers driving around in lamborghihis. Is there any particular reason sponsorships are required and businesses interested in participating are forced to fight it out in an auction process? It's more likely to put people of than bring them in. Is space for large displays limited? Surely with the new premises there is enough space for anyone in the industry who is wanting extra space to display without paying over inflated "sponsorship" fees? These large displays are what people pay to see, without them the expo is nothing.

But you do actually see some reptile dealers driving Lamborghinis?  :)

The sponsorship as I understand it is to pay for the venue, given that the marque for the extra stalls required costs $4500 alone, 16 stalls @ $150 per stall under the marque would seem to indicate the stall costs would need to double in the absence of a sponsor. Unfortunately its just the cost of running an expo of this size, so the sponsorship fees probably aren't inflated.
