Dave and Bill have been supplying pygmies, waters, brown tree snakes.
Rough scales and Darwin's are yet to be collected or up for sale to anyone.

Whilst that list looks a lot more exciting to me (prefer reptiles with legs), than the last additions, I'm already preparing for disappointment.

With the recently described Varanus hamersleyensis, I'm guessing Pilbara a rock Monitors will be put in the "too hard basket", as were Egernia depressa. I hope this is not the case as the news of a new monitor species is very exciting in itself, and if they are unhappy with Pilbaras they at least consider allowing Kimberley RM's instead.

I think the 6 new species to be added is a good mix, with the Green Tree snake (Dendrelaphis punctulata) like the Brown Tree snake can be imported as Captive bred from the east coast.

Well the year is almost over and still no more new species added to the list ? Was talk about it early in the year that might add another 6 species before the year is over. Let's play the waiting game again here in WA.

It will happen early in the new year.

I had work out at Kunawarritji most of November and had to defer the meeting with DPaW till mid January.

This stuff just takes time but is in the pipeline.

So the next animals are due to be added next gazette.
The addition of childrens pythons seems a bit odd. I guess there are Ant' enthusiasts that would like them?
Keen for YFWS if anyone can supply the rust and green form.
Be interesting to see what people are keen to get out of the new species...

Unfortunately this is not the case - I think someone might have got a bit excited and jumped the gun.

At this stage the process is still progressing
