End of July is good for people wanting to sell hatchies with a bit of colour in them. Particularly carpets.
I thought the committee was against that time of year due to the chance of rain and the need for outdoor activities?
Is there anything particularly different planned for the 2015 Expo?

July was the only workable date that we could book both halls. There will be different things. It'll be bigger and better!

I wonder if anyone will be inspecting any reptiles that are for sale or on display for mites etc at the upcoming expo, so if people are handling snakes, they don't take them home with them and end up with an infestation through no fault of their own. It should be a great event to see different types of morph's and colours that people are working on.

Cheers

An important consideration given the possibility of mites on a couple of the exhibitors last year. Easy to transfer and the last thing anybody would want to take home with them inadvertently.

Animals brought in will be visually inspected. Unfortunately they can be missed especially if they are in the enclosures and if people can take mites home with them after handling the animals, they can very well bring the mites with them from their own collections.

You would hope that people with a known mite issue will do the right thing and leave their animals quarantined at home.
