« on: June 28, 2011, 03:15:21 PM »
Hello all,

Does anyone know if there is such said problems and if so what it takes to join :)

Hi, mine was rejected when I first applyed, I sent an email and it was fixed. I think it has to do with hotmail.com email addresses.

Dave usually rejects peeople that don't have emails that end in .au such as gmail and internode etc due to the amount of spam bots that have those similar email addresses. if they get rejected they just need to send him an email, re-register and he will add you.

Unfortunately this forum is getting anything from 150 to 300 new registrations per day and probably 99.9 are simply computer generated spam bots.
I simply don't know any other tack except to reject any account I don't recognise as being reptile related (regardless ofwhere they resdide in the world) or an Australian account e.g ends with .au
Some people simply e-mail and ask why they were rejected, and like Andrew said, I sort it out. A few however have taken extreme offence and send a nasty response ( I don't approve them ).

At the end of the day we can't risk porn being posted by the whole sale approval of accounts ( this has happened before )
