Here is a pic of the beautiful gecko, The Banded knob-tailed geco Nephrurus Wheeleri cinctus. This spectacular gecko is totally unique to W.A and it is very unfortunate that it is a species that as of present is not permitted to be kept in a private capacity within this state. They are very common in Parts of the Pilbara and active late at night and especially just after rain where they actively hunt prey. Their diet consists of most insects and smaller gecko species.
