A good number of plate shelled turtles in their sorting tank where we closely examine them before being transferred to our out door turtle pool. In this lot we had one turtle who had a large cattle hoof imprint penetrating its shell which highlights the hazards they face when cattle share the same ponds to drink or wallow in.
